This is an international grape variety that is difficult to grow and has found an area in Friuli where it thrives exceptionally. It has a ruby ​​red color and the aromas are reminiscent of raspberries, wild berries and, in some vintages, violets. The taste is fresh, dry with a slightly bitter finish.

Combination: It goes well with short-aged cheeses, delicate meat, stewed fish such as eel.
