Colostrum dosage
Adults: 1.5 g per day. Children: 0.5 g - 1 g per day. 1.5 g corresponds to a small teaspoon.We recommend taking it in the morning before the first meal, when you can mix it with a little lukewarm water or put it straight into your mouth. It is suitable for long-term use. We do not recommend mixing colostrum into larger amounts of food, as this will significantly slow down its digestion and expose it to the acidic environment in the stomach. Never expose colostrum to temperatures higher than 64°C.
Who is colostrum suitable for?
Goat colostrum is similar in composition to maternal colostrum, which is why it is better digestible. It is also suitable for people with lactose intolerance because it has a lower content of α-s1 casein. It can also be used by children, because it is a purely natural product that can be used long-term. It does not have the aftertaste that is typical of some goat milk products.
