So be careful, you won't just find apple jams that remind you of late summer somewhere. And certainly not ones as honest as ours. They contain no added sugar, thickeners, preservatives and other nonsense that has nothing to do with the traditional recipe. The glass is literally full to the brim with Czech apples.
Šufanovská povidla is made from fresh and perfectly ripe fruit, so you can forget about frozen apples. The process of cooking, mixing and evaporating is lengthy, but we know very well that there is no rush when making first-class treats. You can test the density of apple povidla - if you can stick a spoon in it, it's a winner.
A boiled apple will definitely not go to waste in the kitchen. Povidla is great on pancakes, pancakes, in porridge or mixed with yogurt. But real miracles happen when you start baking the best cakes, buns or donuts with them.
